Hey NH guys
Has anyone had issues with state inspections in NH. Talked to SLP yesterday and they alerted me to a potential problem with installing headers and not passing legitimately. I have 2001 Formula / Firehawk. Should I be concerned?
Would really like to to the next step with my car. Thinking about either Kook or American racing w/ cats and 3" Y pipe.
Thanks for any help with this.

I have talked to a speed shop in Mass. that can tune after the headers are installed.
Also porting the TB. Already have SLP cover and bellows. The guy before me had a SLP
cat back installed so I should be al set. Decided to use ARH headers.
This speed shop is on LS-1 tech and told me no problem with the NH inspection once tune is done. Can't wait!! Once I get some pictures I will post.

Hi.
ARH makes a great fitting header.
Post up the numbers after the install and tune.
Does N.H. have the same emmisions requirements as Mass?

The ARH headers look to be worth the extra money from what I have read throughout the forum. Alot of guys like them. From what I can see the SLP long tube headers aren't worth the money they want, and alot of guys in the forum reccomend you away from them. Slowhawk Performance came highly recommended and they recommend ARH. Has anyone else had work done by them?
I plan on posting some pictures of the car today if I have time.
NH inspections I think are a little more strict than Mass. One thing I won't have to worry about is anything rusted through in NH gets rejected.
Depending on the shop headers will get rejected by sight alone. I shouldn't have that problem with the regular shop I use. It just has to pass the OBD2
for NH. From what I've been told I won't have anything to worry about once the car gets tuned. I have to save up the cash though, it will be a few months. I will post the numbers and pictures once it is done
Question.......There doesn't seem to be alot of guys in this forum from NH or Mass. Are you guys out there?
thanks!
