my friend bought 2 new knock sensors from autojunk a few months ago and redid his harness now we tried to remove the knock sensors and they spin inside their case we tried tapping the edge with a screw driver to see it it would catch the case when we spun it but no luck, suggestions?

i think this is the last time we buy anything sensor wise from junkzone

I have seen their sensors go in and the PCM reject them as bad on literally a half dozen cars in the last year.

I have plenty of the AC Delco/GM ones on hand. They are a little more pricey than the ones from your local auto parts store. But pay a little more now, or even more later....kinda gets old.

damn good to know now haha, the only problem would be removing the old ones first, we'll mess with it more today.
