I had the TP2 for a while and it was decent. Definitely had to hack it for it to be any good though.

I'm on my second Palm Pre. I think the way it operates is cool and all but, the phone is a piece of ****. Both phones I've had don't respond well, the phone seems to have to "think" to much to run multiple apps. You can't even change the ring tone for your text messages! I haven't enjoyed owning my Pre at all so far. BOTH of my roommates works at Sprint as phone technicians and both have an HTC phone of some sort.

Hope that helps.

I think I went through 5 Pre's. The things they can do and how it works is cool but the build quality sucked a$$. I have the Evo now. No complaints so far.

I have the TP2 with a custom ROM. Just like everyone else says, you really need to hack it to get it's full potential.

I'm also running a beta version of Android Froyo 2.2 on my TP2, I can boot it off my microSD card. I'm hoping they will complete the build some time soon so I can use Android full time on my TP2. Android + TP2 Keyboard = FTW
