Default Is the Body control module needed?

I'm going through all the wiring in the car before i put the dash back in. Basically cleaning up and cutting out the stuff I don't need. stereo and amp wiring, power windows n locks, all that stuff is going bye bye.

I don't know what the function is of the body control module is, so i don't know if i need it. Can I cut that out also, or do i need it?

thanks in advance

It's also what reports back to your PCM about intrusion things, so, you need to keep it for that or tune out your factory security.
