Exclamation Oil pick up rust

This is kinda a noobish question. I'm doing an LS1 swap into a 240sx and I went to go install my Sikky oil pan and then figured out I had to do some modifications. But anyway, I left my oil pick up outside overnight and now it has some surface rust on it and inside the tube. How can I get rid of the rust? Like throttle body cleaner or carb cleaner or something? I just dont want to mess anything up and have to buy a new part or even a whole new engine. Pease move if this is in the wrong section, new to this forum.

Light surface rust won't hurt anything. But it should wipe off.
