toyo radials
does anyone know about the toyo proxes tq drag radials? how do they work? do you think a pair of 275/40/17's would hook on my 02 z28 automatic 3.42's with a yank 3600 converter and other mods? i see they're fairly cheap just wondering if anyone had any knowledge on these tires

I have the 315/35/17 with a g5x2 cam, pt4000 converter, and 3.73 gears and I can't get them to hook in 1st. Although to be fair my suspension is completely stock which I am working on right now.
Before any downshift into 2nd would blow the tires off (BFG KDWS 245), but now it hooks for the most part in a 2nd downshift.
I think LCA/Brackets/TA/Shocks should solve my 1st gear woes.
I think for your car they would do fine. Kind of in between a 555R and MT.
