On my 2001 trans am i went to start is and i got nothing, no crank, no click or anything. when the key is in the on position everything works just find but the security light is flashing. Please help and has anyone had this problem before?

try another key or leave the key on for 15min in the on position to relearn the security

I found the problem one of the wires going to the resistor pads for the key was broken, so i just need to replace the ignition cylinder.
