Probably a dumb question, 5.3 or 6.0 for 370
Like it says, im a complete noob to the engine building side of things,
can a 5.3 used to get upto a 370 with off the shelf stuff and a stock crank??
or do i need to use a 6.0 block?
sorry for the stupid questions, and i must of searched through the FI and geniii section for about and hour, i see most people are using a 6.0 block and saw a reference to someone talking about the 5.3 not having much meat for boring/etc.

Search is yo friend.
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=5.3+max+bore

it is possible to go 3.905, and use 5.7 ls1 pistons
but a .060 over bore works fine, apply what the machine work will cost to a 6.0 block
.060 will make 4.8=5.0 or 5.3=5.5
