I have 2 17X9 and 2 17X10.5 black TTMS im going to put on my pewter Z28. Im thinking of 275/40's in the front and 315/35's in the back. I might be ordering my tires tomorrow but i can freakin decide what brand etc. I dont know if i want a drag radial in the rear or a street tire...I want a tire that will give me the best traction available on the street/track and have a decent amount of life. Im looking at the Nitto NT555's for the fronts and NT555R's for the rear. How good are the drag radial 555's as far as traction and tread life? This is my daily driver BTW so i need something thats good on highways too but sticky so when i get called out to race hahaha. My mods are not sever im guessing im in the 320-330 ish hp range and no stall so my luanches arent very high.

Look at the NT05's they come in 17" sizes for your rims. They are the next gen up from the 555's.

finally made up my mind and ordered 2) 275 40 17s for fronts and 315 35 17's for the rears Nitto NT555's...i wanted maximum tread life and good traction...i had these before and loved the tires and they hook pretty good at the track...my total was $668 shipped. I cant wait till they get here so i can finally throw my wheels on I been waiting months for this!
