NHRA Edition Trans AM's
I have a 2002 NHRA Edition Trans AM. I have heard that there were a few things extra on this car. the only thing that I have found is my intake part # runs as a Z06 intake.

The NHRA cars started out as a marketing ploy by Pontiac to charge a little bit more for a fully loaded Trans Am or Formula. Later they also included a metal fender badge. Beyond that there's nothing separating them from any other fully loaded non-WS6 Trans Am or Formula. I sold them when they were brand new and thought they were a joke at the time but they seem to have a following with the people who own them which is nice to see.

All '01-'02 LS1 had the LS6 (Z06 engine) intake manifold.
The NHRA option RPO 1SH included a Hurst shifter (BBS) if the car was a M6, and a 3.23 (GU5) rear if it was an A4. These items could also be ordered ala-carte (w/o 1SH), so yeah, other than the badges, there is nothing exclusive to the NHRA package.
