Default Anybody work at the Dish Network in Alvin?

I was offered a job as a Call Center Specialist. Basically I would answer the tough questions that standard customer service reps couldn't answer. I was wondering if anyone here works at the center in Alvin, and how do you like it? I've heard good and bad about them, and I've heard everything is based on the ratings customers give you after the call.

I know this isn't car related, but so many of you live in Alvin, I figured I'd ask.

yeah I just quit it can go good and bad man , I think i seen that black TA once I guess u were getting interviewed , well anyways. Yes sucks about the ratings customers give u , what sucks more is that they can call 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 times a damn day , and when they call them to do a servey on u they dot know who it is cause dont give no name , and if one of those 10 people **** them off wich probably did for he reason calling 10 times then u will get a 0 and then u will be written up! thats the only bad thing about it , ur pay increase is all on those damn serveys and keeping ur handle time low , I was always between a 5.20 and a 6.40 average handle time. I work for a special group called welcome center wich I deal with all the new pist off people withing there first 12 days. I was GLAD when I quit and I swear to god I went off and curse out everyone who try to talk **** my last week , I was with a smile for 3 days straight lol . Like I said its good days and bad days , do expect to get ur *** curse out at so bad sometimes , U do also ge free dishnetwork by working there , well its required now for u to get it if ur being hired , Who interviewed u? Im sure it was someone I know.

You need to have a thick skin and don't take anything personal to work at a call center. 99% of the ppl that call are pissed for one reason or another.

I haven't actually been interviewed yet. They said i would do something called doc dish? Idk what that is, but apparently it makes more money than regular customer service. As far as being thick skinned... Man, I'm the customer service supervisor at CONN'S. I've been called every name in the book.
