Default Wider stock T/A rims

Iv been exploring my options for my T/A and I just can't figure out what I should do about rims.

First thing I wanted was a chrome mess wheel like HP evos but I won't run a 19' wheel and really don't want a 18' either sooo i moved on.

Then i moved on to wanting a 17' 505a look alike because i can't aford 505a to be honest. But i can't find anything so im open to suggestions if anyone has any ideas for a look alike.

Now im thinking about having my stock rims widened out to like a 10' if thats even possible on the 16' wheel and then getting a really big drag radial for it.

The cars a weekend go fast car/ "show car" and my stock wheels are in perfect condition. But with the new motor i need some wider tire out back.

So am i going to spend about as much money on getting the stock ones widened with new back tires as I would for a set of aftermarkets?

Also can anyone tell me what rims these are? This is a video of the prev. owner showing off the low compression rusty ol lt1 but I kind of like the rims that can be seen half way in.

Who knows but they look pretty close to C6 Z06 replicas

You can get a set of full chrome replicas...17x9.5 in the front and 18x10.5 in the rear.

Little over $600, brand new. From OE WHEELS.

Here's what you want:

Thumbs up

If you can't find an aftermarket rim you like or can afford, getting your stock rims widened is an option from several companies. I sent 2 stock WS6 rims to http://www.wheelsamerica.com/ and for $200 a piece they added 2" to the inside and made 17x11's out of them. There are many threads in this forum showing a lot of people doing this. I like the OEM rims and wanted to keep them, but wanted wider tires in the rear.
