275/40/17 currently running on my 95 z28 in the m/t streets. I'm having problems with them hooking up. - I know they are old tires. On the sidewall the manufacture date is 05. Could old tires be the cause of traction problems. Does anyone know when m/t came out with the street drag radial??

Problem hooking on the street or at the track? 600rwhp is alot of hp for them cold. I cant hook mine when im spraying unless i warm them up.

600 horse is gonna be tough to get a 40 series sidewall to hook up even at a track. May want to think about a smaller wheel and bigger tire setup.
