Wont start... a few questions
Well as usual this things being a bitch!!!
We got it ready and it spins over fine. there is no fire or fuel but there is power to the inectors with key on, power to maine two coil plugs in the harness with key on. checked....
Checked PCM
-checked Blue 1, Blue 40, Red 1, Red 40 for ground. Good
-checked Blue 20 & Blue 57 for bat +. Good
-checked Blue 19 for ign +. Good
Checked sensors connectors
-checked both sets of coil packs for ign +. Good
-checked both sets of coil packs for ground. Good
-checked both banks of inj's for ign +. Good
-checked o2's for ign +. Good
-checked o2's for ground. Good
-cam sensor is plugged in
-crank sensor is plugged in
Checked grounds
-three grounds on the back of the driver side cylinder head are tight.
-battery ground to chassis is tight.
-battery ground to engine block is tight.
-engine block ground to chassis is tight
my thoughts at this point is something with the VATS. If its the VATS will the motor even spin over? Before when i had the LT1, the SECURITY light would come on and go off.Iit doesnt even come on now at all. I have the VATS wire off the LS1 PCM which is PCM RED #30 going to C230 Pin E which is theft deterrant fuel enable on the LT1 plug side. Anybody with previous experience or anything they can contribute would be very helpful. Thanks!
Or..... does the cam or crank sensor control when signal is given to injectors to fire? Does the VATS only control spark or fuel or both?

1. make sure u have power while cranking...no power to all the pink wires while cranking will not start the car...orange wire should be constant 12v...all pink should be ignition 12v...
2. crank/cam sensor
3. pcm bad
common problem i've seen/read...my personal problem was #1...

Checked and double checked number 1. The motor ran fine when we pulled it out of my friends camaro. As far as the cam or crank sensor, does one of them control the signal for fuel and spark together? We are also using the same ecm that came out of the car the motor was in.
Only thing I noticed was the oil pressure gauge is pegged full on the dash
