Default 1999 iron block motor with longer crank flange

Will this work in a m6 fbody as long as I use the truck starter will my clutch be ok ?

It will not work. You will need to either change the crank or have the rear flange machined down to be able to use a t56 or 4l60e. The only trans that will bolt right up to that motor with a long crank is th350/400 or 4l80e.

Unfortunately, that will not work. As the guy above me stated, you'd have to have the rear flange machined down or swap that crank for one without that longer flange.
