What tranny bolts to a 5.3 Impala engine? I am working on a 5.3 conversion and currently have an iron 5.3 with the 4l60e still attached. I have come across a 5.3 from an '07 impala SS with less miles and have been told it is all aluminum. Will the 4l60e bolt up or are there differences in the block to accomodate the front wheel drive?
