Default How to? This a cheap aftermarket slave????

So trying to disconnect the slave cylinder with the little white plastic sleeve... i crushed two with no luck...
Then i notice that this slave cylinder has a clip that comes like a cir=clip from the side that locks in the clutch line... Like, rather than having all the little springy teeth that release with the plastic push in clip, this has a side clip that slides in from the side. The only problem is that if i release it, i'll loose the clip into the bottom of the bell housing.
Any special trick for this????

Anyone know this kind of slave cylinder?

it looks just like this one:

Yes, some are made like that now. Normal product lifecycle improvements.

I have that slave cylinder. I used snap ring pliers to spread it from the one side, and wedged a screwdriver in between the other side of the clip and the side of the bellhousing hole so that it could not pop off of that side and fall into the bellhousing.

imagine the "C<" is the clip and the "[ ]" is the hole in the bellhousing. "|" is flathead screwdriver:

well i figured it out.

Just push the clip in all the way, and it releases. So the Prong sides of the clip stick out far. SIMPLE!!!!!! now this style really is quick disconnect! screw that little plastic piece

could you explain that a little better? the way I did it works but it's a bit tricky by yourself, just pushing in the white clip didn't work for me

also, do you have a stiff pedal with this slave cylinder?
