LS1 in a 93 camaro
hey guys im lookin to put a LS1 in a 93 camaro here, i wanna know what do i need parts wise to make it work, so far im comin up with: engine, engine harness, PCM, Cooling fans, am i missing anything else???? also what would i need to make it work, could i just put in an LS1 f- body dash, to bypass rewiring everything????

I used my original fans don't know if the 93 is different though. You'll also need an LS1 k-member and LS1 steering rack. Changing the dash is more work than repining a couple of connectors.

I installed one in my 95. You can make the gauges that are in there work just fine. Like said above you will need the kmember and steering rack and the steering shaft to clear headers or I needed that anyways. Also you will need to run a better fuel pump. Ls1 will require more pressure. You will love the results though.
Also if your going with auto you can tweak your lt1 tranny mount to work with the swap. I did on mine

what about going from a 97 6 banger, to an LS1? Got a friend that wants to do, for ***** and gigs and the experience of doin an engine swap. Does the trans and driveshaft need to be changed as well as the above already mentioned?

For the V6 if it's a 2 piece it will have to be changed..
