I was told that spraying is really not good for your motor and I really don't have a budget

If you don't have a budget, the sky is the limit. But if you're looking for 400whp, an AI heads/cam package and all of the bolt-ons with a good dyno-tune will easily surpass 400whp.

Go old school then. BBC 496, with an 871 blower. You might have to modify the hood a little to get it all to fit though. Should crack 400whp repeatedly, and often.

put it back in the car, that will make it faster....

on a serious note. check out Advanced Inductions webside or Lloyd elliots website.

There are do's and dont's as well and certain parts to stay away from, i beleive one of the stickys touches on what parts are a waste of money or a fluke.

You might aswell freshen up the bottom end if the engines out of the car. bearings/studs/connecting bolts/oil pump. then do a nice head and cam setup. thatll put you well over 400 CHP with supporting mods
