Default Anyone know weights of different TCs?

Looking for the accurate weight of Torque Converters.

Stock and/or aftermarket.

Please post any information you have here

i cant give you exact numbers but switching from stock to your average 9 inch high stall saves approximately 15 lbs. i BELIEVE the stock one is around 45-50.

I think the stocker weighs in around 52 pounds. I think yank / vigs are around 31-34 pounds

I just weighed a few last week:

-Stock was 54lbs
-PT4400 made back in March '02 was 36lbs
-Brand new PT4000 was 30lbs

*All weights include fluid

VIg 2800 boxed up for shipping was 31 lbs

vig3600 31lbs
pye3600 35lbs


all dry/ no fluid
