Default Burned tranny cause odd running?

My tranny is burned up ... All the clutches are burned up and overdrive is almost gone as well.

Its going to be rebuilt this weekend -- but I'm a bit worried about my car.

The last few times I drove it -- it was running REALLY weird. Like sometimes I would stop at a redlight and the car would just quit. Its NEVER done anything like this before.

It just seems like its running at really low RPMs sometimes when I stop.. but if I shift from park to drive its normally fine.

Is this being caused by the tranny or is something else wrong?

I hope its just the tranny. The motor seems fine though. It runs normal except when I am driving and then stop.

TIA

NVM. Figured it out. Torque converter is ruined too.. clutches being burned up and all don't disingage like they're supposed to when I come to a stop and this drags the motor down causin it to quit. w0o. somethin like that. thanks anyway.
