Default th400/csr shield-help needed

after fighting with the driver side bolt issue then i run into a shift cable battle. when you go to route the cable around it will have to much bend between the shield and the tunnel. can anyone give some advice to this problem. im going from m6 to th400 and the shifter is a b&m stealth pro ratchet.

thanks
