Passenger o2 sensor stuck?

Passenger o2 sensor stuck? While changing my slave cylinder the other day the bank 2 passenger side o2 sensor wouldn't loosen, as if it became cross threaded. So we tightened it back up, and it screwed in kind of sideways and left a small gap between the threads.
The car is now throwing an o2 code on that side.
Do I need to get a new o2 bung welded on the headers? How do I get the o2 out?
