Which LS motor?? Starting a winter project soon. Wanting to know which Ls motor would suit it best. Gonna be going in a '99-02 Trans Am. Looking to pick up something used and go through it so it'll hold up to a good bit of nitrous. Long term goal would be to be in the 8's eventually. Looking for some advice so im going in the right direction now. Thanks in advance.... Sean.

I did an L92 and kept the VVT, custom cam (2007 Escalade). When I researched it, the old GM engineers really liked the 6.2 all aluminum V8. You will have to put an LS3 intake on it to fit in your car.
If you don't care about extra weight or VVT, you may want to look at an iron 6.2 motor.
