Default What do you guys think?

I have 2 Firebirds at the moment, 94 & 96 formulas, and i love them to death but if one is running the other isn't. I got a good deal on both of them and now im searching for an ls1. The other day a friend of mine told me about a 99 trans am 6 speed in great condition wih what he said was an ls2. I told him i would check it out and ofcourse it was not an ls2 like i would have loved but the ls1 was in great shape. Its well kept by an older male and it has 114k on the clock. I have never driven one of these and i fell in love with it. It shifted nicely through the gears and had no weird issues. When you would step on it there was no hesistation. After a few hours of talking he told me he wanted 6500 for it but the blue book value was about 6000 and i will be taking out a loan for it. Do you think this car is worth it? Sorry for the long read.

Any mods are done to it? What options came with the car?

The car is as stock as a rock. It has power seat, windows, locks, abs wheel, ttops, cd, ac and it has everything in working condition. He had told me the title was clean but I still have to check it out in carfacts just incase but i really did like the car. And ram air ofcourse

I just finished tryin out blue book again and the price came out to 7030 if its in good condition.

Haha ya i wish it were that easy but gettin a loan without any credit just doesnt work. I dont know how to try and get him to let me do it in payments cuz i know i can have that car fully paid in 6 months and he is not in a rush to sell it either

then get a loan for a longer amount of time, say 3 years. even if your credits bad. let em jack up the rates. then pay it off in 3 months, and help your credit out!
