04 GTO Starts But Won't Stay Running My buddy has an 04 GTO with an issue that just recently started happening. The battery went dead a few weeks ago, after charging it and trying to start it the car would crank, fire, and then immediately shut off. I've already check FP, VATS, and all the other happy horse $h!t....I've tried 3 other tunes and nothing....we swapped out his computer and the damn thing fired over....so we think it's the computer.....any input? Anyone have this problem before? Let me know....

did you check to see if the battery is still good? could have a short in one of the cells and i've seen bad batteries create some seemingly strange issues before

Mine does that sometimes. It will turn over, fire up...then die If I take the key out of the ignition and lock and unlock the doors, it will start and run fine. I think its VATS related.
