Default Stock Piston Valve Relief

I'm putting together a budget LT1 with a stock rebuilt bottom end. What size of valve relief does the stock LT1 piston have? I thought it was -5cc but couldn't find anything to confirm 100%.

Also, what head gaskets are most of you guys using in the .026-.030 thickness range? I was looking to bump the compression a bit by going with a thinner than stock gasket. Also will be running a 226/234 AI cam.

Thanks for the help guys.

Default

Stock pistons have a -5cc valve relief.

For gaskets you can use OEM Impala head gaskets. They are .028" thick (opposed to .049" for stock).
