Default FAST 102 for LS1

So i've looked around on here and havn't found much info on the FAST 102 for LS1's...other than it will add 20 -25 hp...my question is the FAST 102 overkill and will it compliment AFR 205 heads oppose to a 92 FAST intake?

On a stock motor it's definitely overkill but if you're going heads/cam then it's worthwhile. I think I've seen people claiming 5-10 HP over a 92mm intake but that's comparing a ported 102 to a ported 92...not sure how much (if any) a non-ported 102 gains over a non-ported 92.

Here are the flow numbers from another thread. The Fast 92mm should give up only 3-4hp over the FAST 102mm manifold due to the smaller drop in kPA in the plenum. The 92mm can use cheaper thottle bodies and the stock fuel rails. If it isn't enough then you could always port it to flow more than a stock fast 102mm. Only Heads/cam cars on 346ci will really benefit from the FAST and I wouldn't expect 20-25hp. I would look for a used 92mm combo though.

Fast 92 - Stock
.100 71.4

This is good news i have a head and cam waiting to get put on so hopefully it takes me close to 415hp or better...I've also come across on here that the intake compliments the bigger cubes...anybody have this on a 383 stoker?
