Default 28x11.50x16 with BMR rear springs

I was super exicted to take my new wheels and slicks to the track. I was telling a few people and one of them said that the slick will grow at the top end of the track which I totally agree, but being lowered it would cause rubbing issues. Does anybody know this to be true? 1.2 inches lower in the rear. I looked at the 28 inch tall tire thread and there is a lot of poeple in there that look a lot lower than mine.

Thanks

I doubt they will rub at all. They may catch the lips on the fenders tho if they arnt rolled. Mine did that on my formula when i ran 275/60 ET streets.

Roll your fenders and you'll be just fine.

Just get a fender roller tool, 69TA has them for rent on here. If you do it correctly, you won't crack the paint.

the lower corner of the wheel well (metal part) will rub and cut the tire, take a hammer and dent it in (you cant tell its been done, and one small bent lip is better than a car geting shitty bc of flat rears at 80+ mph. also the bumper can rub too, i had 28's on my car for a month and were fine til i went 120+ and they grew to the point it cut a grove in them, i bent that lip on the lower front of the rear wheel well down to a radius and it never cut again.

I actually used rsseans slicks at the track last week and they were real close to the bottom of my bumper, they actually slowed me down also (stock 3.23's). I was running around 12psi in them. My fenders are rolled anyway so no worries there...Thanks again sean
