What will be the volume differance for removing cats on my setup?
My setup is Pacesetter LT's with 2.5" true duals with an x-pipe crossover and flo-pro twister mufflers. Currently I'm running cats after the headers and before the "x." It's very smooth and VERY deep but it just isn't loud enough for me yet. I want to scare small children...
Will removing cats achieve this effect?

It will be louder no doubt, not sure how loud your mufflers are but my friend (and the latest LS1 Tech moderator ) Pete ('bspz28') has a LT/true dual/no cats set up using Dynomax mufflers and it's not crazy loud at all so it's possible that pulling your cats won't be unbearable/obnoxious at all. Just enough to clear the roads while you're traveling under full throttle in 2nd.
