Default Best cam choice?

Hey guys, just picked up an 04 gto with an A4. Car is going to be one of my run around cars and wondering what would be the best cam choice for streetability and horsepower. Don't want to have to change a whole lot besides maybe like springs. Car has a cai and catback exhaust already, will get tune once cam gets decided on. Thanks

well, this can be anything, all depends on what you consider drivable, don't forget that you will also need a stall converter to take advantage of that cam.

i would look into Texas Speed, and they will recommend a cam that will work well.

If you want to go that small, LPE GT2-3. Just a little hotter than the LS6 cam and idles like a stocker. Makes very good power and nobody will ever know its in there.

I ran a TR224 cam on 114 LSA for a year with a stock converter. That's about the biggest cam I'd get before upgrading the converter. Texas Speed has a 224R that would also work.
