Default rims 68 gto to 99 ta

Will rims that fit a 68 group fit my 99 ta? According to my search it should be 5 by 4.75. But it says that the pattern is only good for 60s to 80s style ta. I'm guessing after 3rd Gen the bolt pattern changed. If so are there adapters to make it work

i doubt the issue is bolt pattern as 5x4.75 is 5x4.75 the difference is probably offset and that can be solved by spacers/adapters. but you gotta find out the offset of the gto rim to find out what spacer to use or vice versa

Most of the early GM "muscle cars" had wheels with a 3.75-4" back spacing. The 4th gen F-bodies have, on average, a 6-7" backspacing. Unfortunately, it's WAY wrong for putting the older wheels on the newer cars. The OD of the center hubs on the 4th gens might be different too.
