Do post cat 02s effect Total Fuel Trim? When you run long tubes with no cats the rear 02s are gone. Initially the teaching was the rear 02s only monitored cat efficiency, but recently I'm hearing more and more that the rear 02s do more than just monitor the cats at steady highway speeds. Some instructors are saying that the rear 02s contribute to the Total Fuel Trim calculation. I thought that STFTs combined with LTFTs was how Total Fuel Trims was arrived at. How do the post cat O2s figure into the Total Fuel Trim calculation or do they have nothing at all to do with it?
