so i got done puttin my aje k member in my car and the stock steering shaft is about 1.5 inches short of bolting up...anyone had to deal with this problem? on the k member the 4 lower bolts are slotted for adjustment but the top four are not...and i really dont wanna take this back out to make them slotted, so any help will be appreciated! thanks in advance

Did you try pulling on the steering shaft? Mine is a 2 peice and extended fine(01 Mustang).
