Default Hood Questions MC SS

So I've decided I'm going ahead with purchasing the MPD hood. I'm going to go on a roadtrip to go get it. Anything I should know when removing the stock hood? Just a few bolts on each side right? And then there shouldn't be any issues driving it hood-less right? Unless there's a torrential downpour or something...

4 bolts and the hood strut, remove the hood strut first or you could cause a decent amount of damage.

thanks!

and haha, hood-less might be 'cool' in both senses of the word for a short time, but looking forward to getting the new one! Hmmm, maybe I should put my plastic engine cover back on for the ride.

I hadn't decided yet... I wonder how necessary that would be.
