Default Tsp true duals

Just got the new ceramic headers and x pipe in the mail today. What size bolts do I need for the headers? I don't believe I am suppose to reuse the stockers?
Also am I going to have to do any welding? Everything is bound together by those quick disconnect clamps that come with the kit?

Thanks!!

The stock manifold bolts are just fine to re-use. They're the ****, lol. Also, the TSP TD's shouldn't need anything welded; as you stated, the clamps are all you need. GL with the install!

I'd get different clamps. And a sealant for the pipes.

They have these flat exhaust clamps that hold together better and the sealant is to stop exhaust leaks. Most auto part stores have it. Just ask around

Should I go somewhere like murrays for the clamps? How does tsp not have reliable clamps?

And I know what sealant is I was wanting you to be more specific to and exact brand that holds up to the heat.

Any auto parts store sells exhaust sealant, the brands will vary. You will want the copper based RTV sealant; it is rated to 700 degrees. It takes approximately 24 hours to fully cure, but if you needed to remove the exhaust, you can just scrape the sealant off. It's sort of rubbery. My buddy used it on all of his turbo piping and I have used it to seal an exhaust manifold leak before.
As far as bolts go, almost all companies tell you to use new bolts on the headers, but when I installed my LT's, I reused the stock bolts. They are 10mm head, not sure the length. Several hundred miles and no problem with them.

Yes I was planning on it! Im going to take a bunch of pictures and post everything. I will also be doing motor mounts, plugs and wires, and a thermostat a the same time. Where to post it? I believe there's a certain section. I'll go find it

Excuse me I am wrong. I guess it's only for 1998-1999. Here's what I've foun awhile back...

you need a rack and pinion with the FE2 package, not the F41. these codes are on the side of the drivers door, make sure you have the FE2 package. but you just need to change your rack and pinion to the FE2 style is what it sounds like. runs for $250.

What a great night! Scratched the **** out of the headers trying to get them to fit a million times. I banged out the drivers floorboard next to the tranny. Still doesn want to fit. Hitting the steering collem, tried to pull that off on the top and I'm about an inch from getting it off. All around a pain in the ***. Great headers so far!

Hehe I'm kidding just a little impatient. I can't wait till it's all done! And summit sent me the wrong motor mounts! Can I just wait a week and put new ones in?
