Default PCM Diagnosis, 2001 Camaro z28

Ok i bought this cable on ebay that connects an OBDll to USB. I bought it to scan my car an possibly tune it. It comes with several software like EasyOBD, Scantool, ect.

I connected it on my car and it reads the parameters just fine, but Im not sure what to look for, im trying to dignose for part hesitation and sometimes missing shifts

What should i look for, i see many parameters and wanted to know if someone can give me an inside in were these parameters would be normal for a stock ls1 and what do they mean thanks in advfance

absolute throttle posiiton
timing advance (cyl #1)
intake manifold pressure
air flow rate (maf sensor)
fuel system 1 status
fuel system 2 status
short fuel trim (bank 1)
short fuel trim (bank 2)
long fuel trim (bank 1)
long fuel trim (bank 2)
intake air temperature
coolant temp
fuel pressure
secondary air status
power take-off staurs
02 sensor all banks

thats what i can remember but what do some of those mean and what should i look for, sometimes it says on the program "rich (+)"or "lean (-)" not sure what they mean

Any codes? Did you modify anything before this miss started? How exactly does it miss a shift....does it shift late, not at all, sometimes? How does your tranny fluid look? Didn't see a stall in your sig.

well it does it sometimes when its cold and sometimes when its really hot, no codes thats why i wanted a scanner that could read live data and see what to look for, tranny fluid seems normal kind of reddish color and have around 100k miles on motor/tranny. I dont have a stall all stock as far as i know since i bought it off second hand, but dont think so my car would probably feel faster. anyways want to see if fuel, air, ect are normal.

What should i do, like do a live scan and save it to a log than post it here????

Yea that would be a start. Although someone would probably need the same software on their computer to see your log. I can log my car using HPT, but if you don't have the program then you can't open the log.

Just make sure you know exactly what mods are done to your car since it is secondhand.
