Has anyone noticed the appauling gap from the hood to the front bumper.I just noticed it the other day and it kind of made me wonder... They should of been able to smooth that out better dont ya think.

I just cant get it out of my mind lately seems to bother me for some reason.

The gap is there to add a little more airflow to the engine bay. It's also where the otr cai get air from.

Ohhh hehe just thought about it after asking the question, its "over the radiator cold air intake" If im right.

So you saying GM thought ahead of time to have a gap there for future modders when they get a otr cai?

They were just thinking of getting some air in to cool underhood temps. and the Australian performance industry made an intake to take advantage of it.That's my best guess. By the way GM borrowed the car from it's Holden division.

Contact Svede for the best OTRCAI on the market for the GTO. ANd as stated the gap is for airflow.
