I saw a black, automatic 4 speed transmission, 2001, WS6 with 125k miles for sale locally for $8000. Also has C6 rims with goodyear tires f1 285 35 18 tires. What would be a fare offer for this car? The clear coat is oxidizing on it too.

Are there any common problems with high mileage Trans Am that i should look for. Any help, info, or opinions would be great.

I wouldn't give $8,000 for it with that many miles. Keep shopping, and you will probably find something better.

He said obo. So i was thinking something along the lines of $6500. I seen a few in the $12.5k - $14k. This was the cheapest WS6 I seen so far.

for that price and mileage depending on how bad the paint is (u beening the judge) thats not bad assuming everything mechanical is good, i havnt seen a ws6 go for lower then $10 sometimes $11k around my area, 9k for autos sometimes though but still, and judge the guy when u talk to him if he seems like its $8k and thats it then idk but if he seems legit about it $7500 isnt an unreasonable offer though.

Update.

I was told an old lady had a pristine 94 Z28 for $2000 with only 60k miles. I'm gonna go check it out today.
