Default "pre lube"?

i just picked up an lq9. took it down to the block, cleaned a lot, reassembled. i also changed the cam. its a used torquer 2 out of my ls1. 3 questions:

will the cam need to be broken in?

i knwo when i did the swap on my ls1, i had to coat the cam in oil. i did this again, but its been sitting for a week. do i need to do anything before i start it to get oil on everything?

anything else i should do prior to turning the key once its in and put back together?

Roller lifters, so no can "break-in". But new springs need a "break-in".
Car Craft magazine did a feature on how to pre-lube an LSx, you can find it on their website in the tech section.
