Default T56 to a 04-05 truck 6.0

I looking at buying an 98 T56 from a guy here to mate up with my truck aluminum headed 6.0. Im trying to get all the parts so it will be just a bolt on affair as I am not real familiar with these. Im am just gathering parts to put all this into a 88 mustang. Any problems with this year trans mating to my motor?

If it's a 98, it was bolted to an LS1. Get an LS1 flywheel, clutch, disk, bolts and you're ready to go. If it comes with the hydraulic throwout bearing and master cylinder, even better.
The only exception is the GTO bell housing. It will interfere with the truck starter.

Thanks Garys 68, I didnt get a starter with my motor , So I was thinking any LS1 starter would work right? The bell housing from the LS1 that the tranny was mated to should be fine for my 6.0 or do I need the GTO bell housing and GTO starter?

Truck or F body starter will work with an F body T56. They will not work with a GTO T56 bell housing. What did the trans come from?
