Which one would you guys get?

no suggestion on the tray, but unless you have a gel-cell battery, I would urge you to seriously consider getting one or be very vigilant in the venting scheme you would be using for a standard battery. The out-gassing can cause some nasty reactions in a closed trunk, keep close watch for oxidation as time goes on.

Maybe you could make something that fits where the spare is.

I'm sure Mel is using an Optima.

I have the Optima Red Top
This will be and extra battery to run a little display I have and when I get home removed and recharged!!

just run a little 8 gauge wire back there.
