Question LM7 Swap Into V-6 Camaro

My buddy has a 2000 V-6 Camaro he has offered to sell me.

How easy would it to swap a 5.3L(iron block) LS engine into this older Camaro?

I would have to swap out the rear end & tranny also.

Aside from wiring it should be pretty strait forward. Get an LSI K-member, a car intake for your truck motor, the right accessories, and a tranny with a drive shaft. You should be able to reuse your stock rear diff as long as you don't go over-board with engine mods. Adding a locking unit of some kind will help, since most V-6's came with open diffs.

Search the forum a bit, alot of guys have done it. It's where I'm looking up most of the info for my project.
