Default Trans Am/Firebird door panels in a Camaro?

I was just thinking would this be worth the money & trouble just to be able to separate the tweeters from the mid-drivers with components. What do you guys think?

Do components sound significantly better when separated the way they can be in the Trans Am as opposed to the Camaro?

In my opinion the main difference is that you can place them where ever you want to. Both sets still sound great when you run enough power.

There are a few ways to run components in the front doors of a Camaro. I ran the 2nd pic for a while until I figured out that the .75" tweets would actually fit in the rear view mirror trim pieces.

I've actually got a Firebird interior in my Z28 and thought about switching over to the Firebird door panels, but with their reputation for cracking and would have to drill a couple of different holes to mount the panel as well as splicing the wiring to make the mirrors work, I decided to just recover my Z28's door panels in the material that matches the Firebird seats and keep my current component set-up.
