nobody makes one for in front of the crossmember in a stock sub frame. also you would loose your sway bar. unisteer makes one that mounts behind it. IMHO i would just keep the stock set up and change the gear box to a Lee's or Detroit Speed box. i loved the DSE box i had on my '67, 2.25 turn lock to lock and felt my C5Z in feed back and road feel.
