Any P&C adjuster's in here?? I been researching about the study material and exam date on my own since I'm currently in the health insurance field. I plan to pay all expenses for this license on my own but had a couple of questions...
Has anyone took this exam on your own, and if so, what school did you attend for the exam preparation?
Do I need to be appointed with an insurance co. to get this license?
I have my p&c and group health license now but I'm not working for an adjusting co. but I want to get this P&C adjusters license before summer.

You don't need a sponsor company to take the Adjuster license exam. I don't know the current best company to take the exam with, but they all just teach the test and you'll have to learn the real stuff on the job. Most folks get a buddy to mentor them into this business, because unless there is a 'Hurricane Ike' to get your foot in the door, you will have to have experience to get deployed.
