1/4 Question?
My buddy of mine wants to run me at the track once the snow melts for money. I have never run my car in the quarter so i don't know what its capable of doing. I thought maybe you guys could tell me your guesses on what the outcome will be. My friends got i 240sx with a sr20 engine with a bunch of mods. His last time at the track he ran a 12.08 at 117.4 mph. Will my car beat his if i make a good pass. Im also going to be re dyno tuning with my new setup before we race.

I think it will all depend on your 60' time. I mean how well you get off the line. If your close at the 330' you should beat him with the extra power. How much power did you make on the dyno?
Your buddy has one major advantage. Track experience. I do believe you have the better car though. I'd suggest going to a different track a couple nights/days and practicing a few runs before you go down & race at the track for the first time against a guy running 12.0x@117 for money.

Yeah, i think your car should be in 11's but don't underestimate how hard it is to get a m6 down the 1/4. I was shocked 1st time out, i was all over the place and i've run the 1/4 a few times before. I really don't feel confortable keeping my foot in it with crummy street tires, get some stickies.
