Fikse FM5 Pictures please
Hi guys. I have a White Camaro SS and I am thinking of picking up a set of FM5's but I would like to powder coat the middle gloss black and leave the lip and dish chrome.
Has anyone done this? Maybe if you know someone who has, you can post up a picture of their car with the wheels?
Thank you in advance.

OMG that White SS looks sick. Basically looks like my car (mine has the charcoal grey Manta Stripe completely done.. A hell of a lot of work putting on the hood scoop stripe! I had experience though. I did it on my old SS and I needed BOTH the hood scoop decals on THAT one lol. But this time it was a little easier to do. I knew the techniques needed.
As for the Wheels, THAT CAMARO LOOKS SIIIIICK WITH THEM. I wanted to be a little different with the black middle powder coated. I am sure there is SOMEONE on here that has done it.
Leaving it chrome is awesome too. but I have chrome wheels on the camaro now and I am liking the Black/White theme. I would do CHARCOAL GREY middle but I fear they will look just like a black dirty wheel would look (picture driving a black wheel in a salt covered road after a snow storm). lol
keep the pictures/comments coming!!

I'd say its probably more from what is used to wash them than the heat. Maybe Fikse can chime in on that one. I've seen a lot of purple parts that were supposed to be black from low quality anodizing companies though, and thats usually from them not cleaning them properly according to my current supplier.

Sounds about right. Either way it sucks that it happens.
