Default Old VS New.. Pics....

Last winter I modified a set of valve covers. I put them on the car today and am very HAPPY! 1st pic is the old valve covers(and how the new ones looked before I started) and then the new look... Next project is to fix the wiring mess in there!!

Thanks! I was going for an old school look when I started the project last year, I think I pulled it off.. They look soo much better than the stockers..
Wiring is next on my list... Believe it or not, that was done by a "professional" shop.. and because they used so many different colored wires and splices I am going to play hell tracking what is what... It will be worth it in the end though..

JB Weld.. Don't know if that was the best idea, but made sense to me.. We'll see how it holds up this season..

Those flat black covers would look sweet on an all black fbody or at least an all black engine bay. I like the filled gray tho, looks like an aftermarket set and for the ultimate price of free, you cant lose!

The covers in flat black look nuts, Youre finished covers remind me of a shorter version of the Katech valve covers..

No problem.. Thanks... Patience will be your friend when doing this... I can't tell you how many times I thought I was done, spray on some primer and crap, fix another spot..
