Default cut out?

I have the SLP long tubes and flow masters, wanting it a little louder. Will a cutout help that if so what what cutout should I use?

a 3" cutout...u will loose 2K-3K torque but it's def. worth it. I've had a cut out on all my LT1's and LS1's......

i have the q-tec electric. sounds MEAN AS HELL,but i gained no performance from it at all.

If you don't have cats, be in for a very ugly sound under ~3000 rpms. I can't stand how shitty mine sounds when it is opened. Now that I think about it, I can't really remember the last time I had it open
